Six-year-old An'an goes on blind dates to pick a mother for her wealthy father, Gu Chengchuan, and meets truck driver Lin Wan. Lin Wan cares for and protects her, while raising her own nine-year-old son, Lin Zirui. Gu Chengchuan hides his identity as chairman of Shengheng and pretends to be a manual laborer to get close to Lin Wan. Lin Wan breaks free from her exploitative family, leaves with her mother, and starts her own logistics fleet. Gu Chengchuan passes Lin Zirui's tests and earns forgiveness once his true identity is revealed. In the end, Gu Chengchuan successfully proposes, bringing the family of four together with grandmother, and An'an finally has a mother.
