Mistaking the Iceberg CEO for a Puppy
Five years ago, Lin Yutong used an old mobile phone to keep a down-and-out young man company through the darkest hours of his life. Five years later, when she joins Baichuan Group, she discovers that her new boss, Lu Jingyan, the man she once jokingly called the "Cyber Underworld King," is actually the very junior schoolmate she had casually flirted with before disappearing. She once sent him messages teaching him how to rebel and encouraged him to wear a yellow duck tie. But this CEO, who has patiently endured for five years, has already laid an elaborate trap without showing the slightest hint of it, determined to make sure she can never escape again—not even with her desk.
