Lin Xia, the conscientious owner of a yogurt and fruit smoothie shop, faces an exorbitant rent hike and a demand for sales commission from her landlord, Wang Defa. Refusing to succumb to these harsh terms, she decisively moves out of the prime storefront to a secluded shop in the back alley of the commercial building. Lin Xia insists on hand-fermenting yogurt and using only fresh fruit, retaining loyal customers with outstanding taste as business gradually thrives. Wang Defa takes over the original location to run a shop himself, blindly relying on foot traffic. To cut costs, he cuts corners and neglects food safety, leading to an investigation and shutdown by authorities, leaving him heavily in debt. With no way out, Wang Defa sells the storefront at a low price. Lin Xia buys back the original shop to open her second branch, running both locations simultaneously.
