Growing Into a Great Tree
At thirty, Shen Zhixia is obsessed with showering livestreamers with gifts, has fallen into online loan debt, and shows little concern for her seriously ill father. Her parents painfully sell their home and leave her 3,000 yuan before kicking her out. Homeless and with nowhere to go, she finds work as a caregiver at a nursing home, starting from the basics of helping residents turn over and feeding them. When her father suffers another heart attack, she finally manages to raise the money for his surgery, signs the consent forms, and takes responsibility. Through hard work, she grows into a nursing team leader, brings her parents home, and becomes the great tree that shelters them from life's storms.
