In Qingxu Taoist Temple, there is a six-year-old little Daoist girl named Dao He, who possesses born divine strength and an astonishing appetite, and was raised single-handedly by the old temple master. Life in the temple is hard and austere; to let Dao He descend the mountain to temper herself and find her background, the old temple master had no choice but to "act out" a play of being so poor that they could not even lift the lid of the rice pot. Clutching a cold steamed bun, Dao He descends the mountain, single-mindedly wishing only to make money to buy rice, to support her master and three legendary senior martial brothers and sisters who are "suffering outside."
