When the Jade in the Palm Shatters and We Reunite
Twenty years ago, Wen Zhixia, the founder of the Rong Group, was rescued by Tian Jiajun after a shipwreck. Having lost her memory, she became Lin Xia, a vegetable washer in the suburbs, and took care of the Tian family's elderly mother and child. Tian Jiajun assumed a false identity and married into the wealthy Rong family, becoming Rong Peipei's husband. While navigating the world of the wealthy, he deceived Lin Xia into believing she owed him money and forced her to repay his debts by bringing along his blind mother-in-law. To indulge Rong Peipei, he even allowed the elderly woman to suffer an unfortunate death. To pay off the debt and cover the funeral expenses, Lin Xia took a cleaning job at the Rong Group, where she was humiliated by Rong Peipei and her sister-in-law, while Tian Jiajun made matters worse. At the company's anniversary celebration, the truth finally comes to light. Rong Tingyuan settles the score on the spot, and Tian Jiajun is held accountable for his deception and bigamy. The entire family admits its mistakes and welcomes her back. The two halves of the broken jade are finally reunited, and the married couple, separated by twenty years of mistaken identities and misunderstandings, meet again.
