Keeping Our Appointment with the Rest of Our Lives
Su Wan once defied her family's objections and wholeheartedly chose Lu Zhiyuan, a man from a poor family. Starting with just 8,000 yuan, they built an online wedding dress business together, enduring countless late nights packing orders. They promised to save one exclusive white wedding gown and hold a wedding that belonged to just the two of them. But after Lu Zhiyuan was diagnosed with acute leukemia, unwilling to become a burden to her, he deliberately staged a betrayal with the factory owner, cruelly pretending that his feelings had changed to force Su Wan to let him go. Heartbroken, Su Wan gave in to her family's arrangements, put on a red dress for her engagement party, and prepared to settle for the rest of her life. Halfway through the engagement ceremony, Lu Zhiyuan, fighting through his illness, burst through the banquet hall doors and rushed in to steal his bride.
