Young Lin Ye and his seriously ill younger sister are driven out of their home by their stepmother, left with nothing and not a penny to their names. He inherits his mother's keepsake: a golden fishing net. With hard work and ingenuity, he ventures into the vast sea, starting with a dilapidated wooden boat and eventually becoming the Fishing King, commanding an entire fleet of ocean-going vessels. Facing the bullying of local tyrants and betrayal by his own family, he remains true to his kind heart, repaying hatred with kindness and protecting his loved ones. In the end, he builds a new home, marries the woman he loves, and leads the villagers to shared prosperity. This is an inspiring story of a young man who refuses to give up and rises from adversity, celebrating the positive values of honesty, filial devotion, righteousness, and perseverance.
