Cut Four, Compensate Five: Why Cry After the Harvesters Leave (61 episodes) - AllShorts

Yang Jianhua devoted himself to helping the villagers, but his niece Yang Pingping instigated them to besiege and falsely accuse him of taking kickbacks. When he presented receipts to prove his innocence, they tore them up, leaving him heartbroken and prompting him to walk away. Yang Pingping then seized a fishpond, staged sob stories on live streams, and pushed her family to extort the machinery crew. Once exposed, the operators boycotted Sangou Village. A torrential downpour struck, causing the wheat to rot and sprout, and Yang Pingping was sentenced for fraud. When the villagers begged for forgiveness, Yang Jianhua let bygones be bygones, arranged sales channels for them, and moved to the city with his wife.
