On the night he wins Best Actor, Lu Zhihan encounters Lin Nuonuo, who is clutching a keepsake left by her mother. Lu Zhihan takes her in and gradually realizes that she is his own daughter. Meanwhile, an older sister, Lu Nian'an, is already waiting at home. From strangers to close sisters, the two little girls bond while Lu Zhihan awkwardly learns how to braid hair, bake cakes, and attend parent-teacher meetings. Wrapped in love and companionship, this once-broken home is finally gently pieced back together.
