Three years ago, Ye Tiandong became a vegetable to save his daughter Ye Niannian. Three years later, Ye Niannian gave up treating her leukemia to scrape together 100,000 yuan to buy special medicine for her father, selling red bean cakes every day in front of the hospital. Her persistence touched passersby, urban management, healthcare workers, and patients' families, and her usually cantankerous grandmother, Diao Mingzhu, even sold her house to help. Later, Diao Mingzhu took Ye Niannian and Ye Tiandong to find Ye's mother, Zhao Qingxue, who was celebrating the birthday of her white moonlight's son. Qian Zixiong's family resorted to violence and tried to hurt Ye Niannian. In the nick of time, Ye Tiandong awoke, smashed his wheelchair, and kicked Qian Zixiong flying.
