Dare to Steal My Takeout, and I'll Make You Eat Until You're Bankrupt
As a newcomer to the workplace, I have my takeout stolen by a veteran colleague for an entire month. My supervisor, who is also her husband, openly takes her side and threatens me with the loss of 100,000 yuan in commissions. I use a 19,000-yuan cash-on-delivery meal as bait, luring her into claiming it in front of everyone and sharing it with the entire office. When the delivery driver returns to collect payment, she repeatedly denies responsibility. I then present days of complete surveillance footage showing her collecting my meals, recordings of the couple privately discussing saving money for a trip, and records of her stealing colleagues' belongings. The manager acts decisively, and both spouses are dismissed on the same day. As public backlash catches up with them, I secure permanent employment ahead of schedule and get promoted to supervisor. Unable to find jobs, they come to my door and kneel to beg me, but I refuse to relent.
