Dark Pact: Foolish Woman Awakens to Suppress Vengeful Spirits
The Underworld Destiny Sovereign, in order to save the sacrificed Night Wandering God, arbitrarily altered the Book of Life and Death, and was demoted to the mortal realm to be reincarnated as the foolish legitimate daughter of a general, Meng Wanqing. Eighteen years later, she was pushed into a lake and murdered by her stepmother and stepsister. Overnight, her divine soul awakened, possessing the destiny sovereign's power to purify malevolent qi. She coincidentally encounters Ye Chen, who hides the residual soul of the Night Wandering God, and they team up to crack the malevolent-qi-gathering array in the manor, breaking into the forbidden area to slay the Grudging Spirit King sealed for a hundred years. Lady Liu, whose vicious plot was exposed, perished from the backlash of malevolent qi, while the resentment-filled stepsister Meng Ruyue was seduced by the Underworld Cult Master, as a new crisis quietly descends.
