Because of an Agreement, Gradually Growing Love
Dessert entrepreneur Qiao Yuwei stumbles into acquaintance with group head He Wenzheng. To cope with family urging for marriage, the two sign a one-year contract marriage, agreeing not to interfere with each other's career and life. Living under the same roof and grinding through friction, misunderstandings and probings constantly play out; former white moonlight and family/friends' prejudices arrive one after another. Originally just a cooperative relationship of taking what each needs, true feelings slowly breed in bit-by-bit companionship. The two break through the shackles of the contract, guard themselves, refuse to depend, and move from nominal husband and wife to lovers heading towards each other in both directions.
