Defying Fate: Fusu
A modern youth accidentally soul-travels into the Great Qin, becoming Fusu, the eldest son of Qin Shi Huang—the tragic crown prince who was supposed to be forced to commit suicide by Zhao Gao's forged decree, causing the Great Qin to perish in its second generation. Waking up, he bumps right into the death trap of burying scholars in the thirty-fifth year of Qin Shi Huang. The original's fate of angering the emperor with straightforward remonstrance and ultimately being exiled to his death is already sealed, yet he goes against the current: hiding his sharp edge, understanding balance, maneuvering among the emperor, powerful ministers, and the inner palace, fighting Zhao Gao with wit, balancing the imperial court, implementing new policies to settle the people, opening up the Western Regions to expand territory, step by step reversing the fatal outcome, and growing from a precarious crown prince into an emperor who pioneered a prosperous age, composing a legend of the Great Qin's rise that overturns history.
