Retired engineering soldier Shen Fei has been engaged in lock repair, pipe dredging, and appliance repair for seven years. He signs up to participate in the reality show Ingenuity: Three Hundred And Sixty Trades, accepting various work orders dispatched by the program team every day. During his first order to unlock a door, he is confronted by a property owner holding up a mobile phone streaming live and accusing him. He calmly calls the police to explain the situation, and the situation reverses on the spot. Since then, clearing toilets, repairing air conditioners, and doing door-to-door repairs, Shen Fei relies on his superb craftsmanship and sharp insight to successively expose scams in ordinary chores, assisting the police in solving multiple backlog cases. The popularity of the live streaming room skyrockets from several thousand people all the way to nationwide attention. Partner Da Pan carries the camera to film throughout, witnessing the story of an ordinary craftsman using his craftsmanship to guard human justice in the mortal world.
