After Putting on the Wrong Bridal Sedan Chair, My Ex-husband Picks a Groom for Me
Su Yu, the daughter of a merchant, had her bridal sedan chair carried to the wrong place on her wedding day, accidentally consummating her marriage with Pei Zhi, the heir of the Marquis of Pingzhang. Waking up the next day, Pei Zhi looked down on her merchant background and was only willing to take her as a concubine or call off the marriage. Unwilling to suffer such humiliation, Su Yu turned the tables on him, making the Marquis's estate recognize her as an adopted daughter and find her another good match. To compensate Su Yu, the Marchioness introduced her nephew, Song Zhaoming, the Commander of the Brocade Guard, to Su Yu. The two gradually developed feelings and pledged their lives to each other.
