At the Start, the Number One Person in the World
A system-free xianxia story about a destined villain. Nian Wuwang transmigrated into a fetus and cultivated for a thousand years. Revered as the Supreme Immortal of Wuji and the number one person in the world, he appears to be the foremost leader of humanity's righteous path, while secretly plotting and scheming in pursuit of eternal life. The reborn heroine, Liu Qingqing, foolishly believes that clinging to the Supreme Immortal will let her follow the heroine's destined storyline, but her plans repeatedly fall through. The story unfolds along two parallel storylines. In his youth, Nian Wuwang sought medicine to save his master but was rejected. He endured the joys and sorrows of the mortal world and carried the pain of his past. Meanwhile, undercurrents stir among the forces of the Five Domains. Lou Ningbing breaks free and returns to the Dragon Clan. During the Heavenly Talents Tournament, the Azure Mystic Immortal Venerable of the Heavenly Palace seizes the opportunity to make his move. Nian Wuwang fails his tribulation and falls from immortality, forcing him to reveal himself and turn the situation around. He uncovers the Heavenly Palace's conspiracy, but finds himself entangled in heavenly retribution, leaving the struggle for power in the hands of the other human factions.
