Since My Sister Cried And Said She Did Not Deserve It, The Foolish Beauty Took It Seriously
Shen Li, the adopted daughter of the Shen family, appears to be a slow-witted "foolish beauty," but is actually clear-headed and resilient. After the true daughter Ruan Ci returns, she uses self-deprecating and weak green-tea tactics to frame Shen Li for stealing a brooch and ruining her work. At a banquet, Ruan Ci stages an allergic fall and bites back. Using videos and backups, Shen Li counterattacks publicly, sees through a riverside suicide farce and calls the police, refuses a paid private settlement, moves into the small building left by her grandmother, and founds the "Lieyun" studio. Pei Xu accompanies her equally as an investor. Shen Li wins gold at a design competition, and Ruan Ci is sent abroad after an attempted crime. In the end, she establishes herself as an independent designer and proactively chooses to fall in love with Pei Xu: taking it slowly is also fine, doing it earnestly will lead you into the light.
