Desert Fisherwoman: I Raise Seafood in the Gobi
On the edge of the Gobi Desert, Lin Yuanyuan takes over the barren fish ponds left behind by her father, only to discover that large numbers of shrimp and crab seedlings have died in highly alkaline, toxic water. The entire village is also pushed to the brink by overwhelming debt. Faced with bulldozers and powerful investors forcing them to sign away their land, she uses geological data, physical dealkalization methods, and traditional desert techniques to turn the situation around. Teaming up with Chen Fan, a former military engineer and racing driver, she succeeds in raising genuine seafood in the Gobi Desert, giving her desperate fellow villagers a new hope for survival.
