To raise money for his critically ill sister's surgery, former ocean-going sailor Chen Ye enters a perilous desert island survival challenge. The island holds not only venomous insects and fierce beasts, but also ill-intentioned contestants eyeing him like tigers. In desperate straits, he saves an injured spirit fox, A Hong, and befriends the kind-hearted Lao Zheng and the healer Su Wan; three people and a fox travel together. With solid skills and mutual support, they turn danger into safety again and again. They stumble upon treasure from a sunken ship, build a wooden boat together to survive, and break through crisis after crisis hand in hand. Through storms and hardships, they stay true to themselves and look out for one another, until they finally break free. Kindness warms their days on the island, and ordinary people, at the edge of despair, shine with the brightest light!
