35-year-old Chongqing man Liu Bo divorced and started driving a ride-hailing car after his business failed, all in the hope of winning back custody of his daughter Niannian. At his high school class reunion 15 years after graduation, he runs into his former deskmate, Li Xuemei. Back in their youth, they liked each other, but Liu Bo shrank back out of insecurity over their vast difference in family background, missing his chance. Fifteen years later, Li Xuemei remains unmarried, still holding him in her heart. Faced with her proactive advances, the divorced father hesitates and backs away. Amid the alleyways and stone steps of the Mountain City, through repeated tentative encounters and emotional pulls, the two clear up past misunderstandings and slowly make up for the regrets of fifteen years long past.
