Parting With You, She Is Famous in the Capital
Shen Ning gave three years of her life to Defender-General Gu Jingnan, only to find him returning in triumph with Daqi Princess Lan Lianzhi, even attempting to take her as an equal wife under the guise of a "political marriage." Enduring the heartbreak, Shen Ning divorced him, proved her dignity through the trial of the Five-Step Flowing Fire, and returned to the Shen family to reclaim her martial arts path. Facing the sneers and jeers of her former best friend, cousin, and aristocrats, her brilliance shone brightly as she claimed first place at the Ziyin Martial Arts Hall. As Prince Yan Yunche of Northern Yuan repeatedly lent a helping hand under absurd pretenses, a game of chess involving power, emotion, and revenge quietly began to unfold.
