The Attention-Seeking Bunch of the Duke Who Guards the State's Household
Ji Huo, a powerful behind-the-scenes figure in the martial world of western Sichuan, is forcibly brought back to the capital to reunite with his family and suddenly becomes the second young master of the Duke Who Guards the State's household. His father is a rough-and-tumble general whose expression changes faster than the pages of a book. His seemingly frail eldest brother is actually a deeply calculating mastermind, while his adorable-looking little sworn sister, who wears red and goes barefoot, is secretly a fearsome killer with overwhelming combat power. Every member of the family is an expert at playing against type. Armed with a system containing hundreds of martial arts techniques, Ji Huo only wants to take it easy and live a carefree life. Yet he is repeatedly forced to step in, crush his opponents, and show off his extraordinary abilities, instantly slaying demons with a single palm strike and defeating enemies right in the imperial court, turning the entire capital upside down.
