The Beauty: She Is Honest but Infinitely Powerful
Jiang Yao has an exquisite appearance and a transparent, straightforward personality. Her older sister throws a tantrum and snatches away her fiancé, yet Lu Qianhan, an elite from the Beijing circle with leg injuries who uses a wheelchair, publicly chooses to marry Jiang Yao. The two set up a contract marriage, acting only as a surface couple to the outside world, and Jiang Yao is regarded by outsiders as a substitute. Amidst their interactions, laughter and mishaps abound as Jiang Yao's open and warm nature slowly melts Lu Qianhan's defensive heart. She gradually discovers that being a substitute is merely an excuse, and Lu Qianhan's experiences hold hidden circumstances. Together, they shoulder to shoulder brush aside layer upon layer of mist to uncover the truth. Lu Qianhan steps out of his past trauma, and Jiang Yao guards her own self-worth and confidence. With the contract as the prologue and sincerity as the ending, they accept each other's flaws and heal one another reciprocally.
