Part the Fog, Open a Smooth Path
Starting with nothing but a three-wheeled cart, he builds a thriving braised-food business through sheer hard work. At a Mid-Autumn family dinner, his own elder brother and sister-in-law bring up the 5,000 yuan they lent him years ago, demanding that he hand over his secret recipe and half of his business shares. They even threaten to spread rumors to ruin his business. He tears up the agreement on the spot, takes back his stores, and cuts off their supplies. His brother and sister-in-law then turn to a rival business, using inferior ingredients to compete with rock-bottom prices, causing customers to suffer food poisoning. In a panic, they kneel before everyone, hoping to make him take the blame for their crimes. But he presents all the evidence, sending the guilty couple to prison. By insisting on a transparent kitchen, he takes his braised-food business to greater heights.
