Divine Woman Steps Down, National Fortune Walks with Me
The Daliang raised Sang Ning for ten years, lifting her to become a divine woman. Yet praying for rain relied on the Qinlianzhang, divine medicine relied on the imperial physicians, and auspicious clouds relied on strong men. The emperor brought back Su Miaoyi, stripped her of her divine woman crown, and forced her to kneel while teaching the sacrificial rites. The night Sang Ning left the palace, the system announced that Daliang actively abandoned its worship and protection ended. Locust plagues, epidemics, and Xirong arrived one after another, and Daliang perished, merging into Dayong. When the entire court knelt and begged her to turn back in the past, she had already received Dayong's state rites. What she protected was never the emperor, but the common people of the world who had grain in the fields, lamps in their homes, and did not wander away in disaster years.
