Old fisherman Zhao Haichuan spent all his savings to support his biological children, only to be kicked out of the house after injuring his back in his old age. On a stormy night, he saved Prince Ao Ting and Princess Ao Li of the East Sea Dragon Clan, who were pinned down by dragon-subduing spikes; their reverse scales recognized him as their father. From then on, Zhao Haichuan gained dragon abilities such as the Dragon's Eye, starting his new journey by beachcombing and opening a seafood restaurant. While his unfilial children constantly schemed to seize his newfound wealth, Zhao Haichuan joined hands with his dragon children to overcome endless crises, even helping protect sunken national treasures, ultimately forging a prosperous new life.
