While bringing chicken soup to her mother-in-law, pregnant Jiang Ruyue is suddenly bitten by a vicious dog. Yet her husband, Gu Jiahao, rushes to the side of his mistress, Wang Zhenzhen, instead. Enduring the betrayal and excruciating pain, Jiang Ruyue goes into premature labor. In the hospital, confronted by Wang Zhenzhen's arrogance and her mother-in-law's misogynistic collusion, Ruyue secretly records the trio plotting to seize her assets and belittling mother and daughter. Realizing she wants a divorce, the Gu family plots to silence her through "postpartum hemorrhaging." At the critical juncture, Ruyue's father arrives with backup, while Wang Zhenzhen suffers a sudden miscarriage—was it an infection from the dog, or something darker? Armed with key evidence, can Jiang Ruyue make the betrayers pay? How many twists remain in this counterattack?
