A Dongbei teenager, Liu Hu, transfers to Tokyo. Hoping to follow his older sister's advice to keep a low profile and finish his studies, he gets successively caught up in campus troubles on his very first day of school, while getting to know class monitor Quan Xingzhu and new homeroom teacher Shiraishi Yui. Faced with alienation and misunderstandings among classmates, his frank and enthusiastic personality helps out time and again, encouraging silent classmates to regain their courage. When an edited video puts him at risk of expulsion, the class monitor, teacher, and aided students step onto the hearing together, using evidence to restore the truth of the event. This transfer student, once seen as a trouble-maker, finally wins recognition from the whole school and becomes the trusted "Tiger Brother" to everyone.
