Shen Zhixia returns from studying abroad and transfers to Jiang University, where she reunites on a plane with Qi Che, whom she had encountered in France. Qi Che pursues her wholeheartedly, but having fallen on hard times, she remains guarded and is gradually moved by his sincerity. At the arrangement of Qi Che's grandfather, she begins an internship at the Qi Group and earns the entire family's approval through her professional abilities. Qi Che goes to London on an exchange program, and the long-distance relationship only makes their bond stronger. He returns home and proposes to her at the airport. One year later, they hold a garden wedding. Zhixia remains independent throughout, and the two pursue each other wholeheartedly, finding both love and personal growth.

De retour dans son pays après des études à l'étranger, Shen Zhixia intègre l'université Jiang. Dans l'avion, elle retrouve Qi Che, qu'elle avait rencontré en France. Qi Che la courtise avec sincérité, mais, issue d'une famille en difficulté financière, elle reste méfiante avant de se laisser peu à peu toucher par ses sentiments sincères. Grâce à l'intervention du grand-père de Qi Che, elle effectue un stage au sein du groupe Qi et gagne l'approbation de toute la famille grâce à ses compétences professionnelles. Qi Che part à Londres dans le cadre d'un échange universitaire, et la relation à distance renforce encore leur lien. À son retour, il la demande en mariage à l'aéroport. Un an plus tard, ils célèbrent leur mariage dans un jardin. Zhixia reste indépendante jusqu'au bout, et tous deux avancent l'un vers l'autre, trouvant l'amour et grandissant ensemble.
