A crate of unpriced reference stones serves as the ultimate yardstick across the entire jade industry. While unloading at the Zhaoxi Public Jade Auction, escort handler Su Wan has her crate forced out of turn and chipped open by reckless workers. Instead of an apology, she is slapped with a 30-million-yuan claim for damages and promptly dumped by her fiancé over the laborer badge around her neck. Without defending herself or revealing her true identity, she insists on just one thing: pull the logs and verify the liability. Blank sign-off sheets, 12 deleted minutes from the activity log, and three years of price-gouging IOU chits stamped with private seals are brought to light one by one. The real thing that needs evaluating was never that crate, but rather the arrogant people who thought they had the right to put a price tag on others.
