Don't Use Neighborly Ties, Steal My Greenhouse Full of Melons
Zhou Xiulan grows Green Treasure melons, and just as a major order is about to come in, her neighbor Liu Cui'e repeatedly uses their old friendship as an excuse to steal her melons. She even instructs her son to secretly steal and sell them. The unripe melons trigger a flood of customer complaints, but the mother and son shamelessly refuse to take responsibility and even prevent villagers from helping with the harvest. Caught between neighborly relationships and business interests, Xiulan stands firm on her commitment to honesty, refuses to sell unripe melons, and legally establishes the extent of her losses. In the end, she resolves the conflict, takes the lead in forming a melon farmers' mutual-aid group, and guides the entire village toward standardized cultivation and shared prosperity.
