After the Weasel Asks for Sealing
On a snowy night in Northeast China, Chen Jiu ran into a three-hundred-year-old weasel asking for sealing, and a casual remark actually brought down a catastrophe of extermination upon his family. His father fell mysteriously ill, the chicken coop died out overnight, and the weasel lurked on the roof beam sneering, saying this was only the interest. He invited Grandpa Hu to hold down the fort, but as soon as they sent away Huang Xiaoqi, Huang Gu came looking for him with ginseng, saying she wanted to be a maid for him for a year to pay off the debt. No one knew that deep in this maid's eyes lay a secret far more terrifying than a weasel asking for sealing.
