After My Cousin Gave Me 100,000 to Send Me Away, I Took Over the Stinking Pond and Raised Golden Frogs
Liu Jun spent three years looking after his cousin Liu Shuai's frog farm, only to receive a mere 100,000 yuan as a payout. He turned around and took over the filthy, stagnant pond that the entire village despised. Armed with the breeding notes he had kept for three years, he worked alongside his wife, Zhou Lan, and his partner, Chen Xiaohai, to gradually improve the water and clear the mud. Despite setbacks such as dying frog fry, torrential rain, and family members falling ill, he not only transformed the abandoned pond into a thriving farm producing high-quality bullfrogs but also took the lead in establishing a cooperative, helping struggling villagers find a way forward together. The honest man whom everyone once looked down on eventually earned his family's security with his own hands and brought warmth and hope to the entire village.
