After Twelve Years of Supporting Him, He Chose His Childhood Sweetheart on Finals Night
Jian Yao devoted her entire youth to standing by Gu Zhan, waiting for him to marry her. Yet across three World Cups, his childhood sweetheart, Shen Zhi, was always the one sitting by his side. He said it was simply a habit and promised they would register their marriage next month. Until Jian Yao witnessed the photo wall at Shen Zhi's home, their underwear hanging together, and her grandmother's treasured sleeping pillow, left to her as a keepsake, thrown into the cat litter box. She neither cried nor made a scene. She tore up the tickets, blocked everyone, quit her job, and returned to her hometown. Gu Zhan chased after her and knelt to beg for forgiveness, but Jian Yao calmly told him, "I don't love you anymore." In her new life, she has her own little shop and even better admirers.
