Chen Wei and her cousin Xiaodong jointly open a fresh-food supermarket called Hao Ling Xian. However, after the grand opening, they are repeatedly harassed and deliberately targeted by the Lin family. The Lin family's elderly woman throws tantrums and extorts money, the elderly man steals merchandise, and their daughter-in-law, Li Caier, exploits her pregnancy to secretly switch price tags. Behind it all, Lin Yao holds a grudge after failing to rent the store and plots to drive the supermarket out of business.
