After Failing the Exam and Entering the Mountains, I Used One Pot to Support an Entire Village
After failing the national college entrance examination, Chen Ping refuses to leave home to work elsewhere. Instead, he ventures into the mountains and discovers wild konjac that nobody has been making use of. After researching the subject and conducting repeated experiments, he cleverly uses plant ash to remove its toxins and develops a delicious spicy konjac snack using nothing more than an ordinary iron cooking pot. At his first stall in the local night market, he receives help from Lin Qing, a student conducting field research, and the two decide to work together. Chen Ping establishes standards for purchasing raw ingredients and encourages villagers to harvest konjac properly. Eventually, he leads the entire village in developing a specialty industry based on the region's mountain resources, helping everyone increase their income and build a prosperous life together.
