After the Auction, Marry My Mortal Enemy
To save Gu Ciyuan, Li Shiya had her left leg crushed by a massive boulder, leaving it mangled and bloody. Yet he believed she had staged the whole incident, imprisoned her in a dungeon, and tortured her day after day. Fueled by hatred, Fu Jiuxiao returned to her side, fitted her with a prosthetic leg, taught her to wield a knife, and spent three years plotting the Gu family's downfall. On a snowy night, she returned covered in blood and threw the evidence of her severed leg before Gu Ciyuan, coldly demanding that he answer for his crimes. Gu Ciyuan fell to his knees in tears, finally learning the truth, only to see her take Fu Jiuxiao's hand and smile as flames consumed her past. For the rest of his life, he guarded an empty city, haunted by the phantom image of her missing limb, consumed by bone-deep regret until his dying breath.
