Down and Out Returning Home, I Rely on Growing Peaches to Enrich the Mountain Village (42 episodes)

After eight years of venturing outside, investing all his savings into entrepreneurship only to be framed and saddled with heavy debts, Lin Wangshan fled the bustling city back to his impoverished hometown, Qingtangling. On the night of his return, he found himself trapped in a fourfold dilemma: his grandmother seriously ill, crisp honey green peaches rotting and unsold all over the mountain, the village primary school on the verge of closure, and the whole village abuzz with rumors. The young man became in the villagers' eyes a swindler evading debts, shunned and guarded against everywhere. In the face of desperation, Lin Wangshan never bowed his head. With the e-commerce operations, fruit tree cultivation, and plumbing and electrical maintenance skills he taught himself over eight years, he repaired the village's utilities, treated the diseased peach orchards, broke the villagers' prejudices, and teamed up with teacher Su He to rewrite Qingtangling's generational destiny of poverty.
