Ling Chen went to the deep mountains to practice immortality for ten years. After achieving success, he descended the mountain to return to the metropolis, solely to search for his separated wife Su Qingyue and his never-before-seen daughter Lianlian. After returning to Jinling, he used absolute strength to sweep across the four major family forces—the Yu family, the Su family, the Liu family, and the Xiao family, protecting his family and uncovering the truth in crushing showdowns time and time again. It was actually a conspiracy plotted by Yu Zhengwei, the leader of the Jiangnan Martial Arts Alliance, to seize the ancestral treasure of the Ling family. While protecting his wife and daughter, Ling Chen investigated the real culprit, gradually rooting out the underground forces of Jiangnan.
