Thirty years ago, after defeating the Snow Night Sword God Li Mubai atop Mount Hua, the world's foremost swordsman, the "Sword Immortal" Gu Changfeng vanished overnight. The martial world rumored he was dead, while others claimed he was hidden among the common folk. In a Suzhou teahouse, the sixteen-year-old Ye Lingyun heard this tale and resolved to find Gu Changfeng and become his disciple. At the same time, Li Mubai's granddaughter Su Wanyue was searching for the same man—determined to uncover what truly happened during that fateful duel on Mount Hua thirty years ago. The two youths set out together into the martial world, traversing from Yangzhou brothels to the Golden Saber Sect in Jinling, and from isolated East Sea islands to the Nether Hall headquarters beneath the Water Dragon Cave, pursuing the truth through relentless, bloody battles.
