Driven Out on a Snowy Night, I Turn My Life Around Relying on a Barren Mountain Orchard
On a snowy winter solstice night, Tang Xiaotang is driven out of her home by her son-preferring mother and younger brother, taking only 2,100 yuan with her. She turns around to lease the village's abandoned old apple orchard, using orchard horticulture techniques to test and amend the soil and revive diseased trees. Gu Yanzhou, who has gone to the countryside incognito, stays in the watchman's hut; he offers no charity, only accompanying her to fix the house and clear the orchard. Facing sabotage, rumors, and road blockades, she forms an aunties' mutual aid group, using surveillance and the law to break the deadlock. The orchard finally becomes a provincial demonstration base, her mother comes to her senses, familial affection is limitedly reconciled, and she reaps a double harvest in career and love. Watch how the discarded girl turns a barren mountain into a sea of flowers and an orchard.
