Young woman Su Wan plans to open a community canteen for seniors in Wutong Alley, hoping that every elderly person living alone can enjoy warm, freshly cooked meals. During the preparations, she faces numerous hurdles, including misunderstandings from local shop owners, doubts from the seniors, and neighborhood gossip. Once opened, real-world trials arrive one after another: smoke complaints, fluctuating ingredient costs, the emotional struggles of the elderly, and equipment breakdowns in winter. Through persistent communication and adjustment, everyone gradually puts aside barriers and prejudices to support one another. Amid the daily bustling neighborhood, simple warmth gently rises and quiet acts of kindness come together, softly brightening the lives of everyday ordinary people.
