Surgeon Li Wu is so broke that she has only 22 yuan left in her bank account. Desperate for a daily salary of 5,000 yuan, she signs a life-threatening contract and is thrown into a fog-covered world, an endless-stream survival space where she takes jobs through the Fog Recruitment App and risks her life for money inside terrifying dungeons. While everyone else enters the dungeons just to survive, Li Wu enters them to do her job. She negotiates for five times the pay, writes complaint letters, refuses workplace psychological manipulation, rolls her eyes when her boss makes empty promises, and calculates her overtime pay before agreeing to work late. In Anna's Room, she rescues a girl named Anna, who has been treated like a commodity by her parents and imprisoned until her tenth birthday. In Beauty Town, she tears away the veil concealing the swamp-like curse behind the pursuit of beauty.
