Zhuzi and Taozi accidentally found giant fish eggs while fishing by the river, and Zhuzi insisted on cooking them. Seeing Zhuzi cook them, Grandma warned them that baby cries were often heard from the back mountain, which might belong to a creature living there, meaning they had caused big trouble. At first Zhuzi didn't believe it, but then the family's chickens and geese were mysteriously bitten to death, Grandma fell ill, and freshly caught fish inexplicably turned into fish that had been dead for a long time. This made Zhuzi and Taozi take the matter seriously. Through their unremitting efforts, they finally discovered the culprit in a cave in the back mountain.
