Eighteen Years of Owed Debt, A Stall Protecting Wife and Daughter
Eighteen years ago, Chen Dazhu was imprisoned for accidentally injuring someone while trying to recover unpaid wages for a fellow worker. Upon completing his prison sentence, he went under an alias and set up a sauce-scented pancake stall with his wife, Liu Cuihong, solely dedicated to making amends to the wife and daughter he owed so much to. However, his daughter Chen Duoduo repeatedly faced bullying and extortion, and the relentless pressure from thugs accidentally exposed his identity. His former coworkers rushed over upon hearing the news to give their all in support, and old enemies appeared one after another. While guarding his family, Chen Dazhu helped his coworkers pursue the unpaid sweat-and-blood wages that had been withheld. After going through numerous trials and tribulations, the bullies apologized, the black-hearted boss was punished, and Duoduo was admitted to the social work major. The small pancake stall transformed into a public welfare rights-protection liaison station, and the family finally ushered in a stable and warm life.
