Deep in the mountains in 1980, Lin Xiu accidentally picked up Shenbao on the mountain. Shenbao's favorite hobby was basking in the sun on a small wooden bench in the yard. Magically, wherever she sat to sunbathe, withered trees sprang back to life. Blessed by Shenbao's good fortune, Lin Xiu's family grew the village's biggest pumpkins and sweetest corn, and life grew more prosperous by the day. Amid warm and humorous everyday moments, the family achieved a turnaround from poverty to wealth, while Shenbao continued to squint her eyes every day, only caring about whether today's sun was warm enough.
