On the Black Stone River beach, Mother Zhao fights off a giant python and fishes up a mysterious mahogany sinking chest. The small golden leopard inside suddenly transforms into a simple-minded, immensely strong teenage boy, Dapang. From then on, he recognizes Mother Zhao as his mother. Dapang is born with divine strength. The local bully Lei Dabiao covets Dapang's divine strength and repeatedly comes to their home to seize him by force. All the villagers step forward to protect the mother and son. Lei Dabiao turns to the official authorities for help, and Commander Yan Lie leads three hundred heavily armored elite cavalry to press the border, offering a bounty of ten thousand taels of silver to capture Dapang. Der kleine goldene Leopard darin verwandelt sich plötzlich in einen einfältigen, ungeheuer starken Jungen namens Dapang, der Mutter Zhao fortan als seine Mutter anerkennt.
