A Jade Pendant Exposes Years of Deception
When Lin Xiaotang visits her boyfriend's family for the first time, her future mother-in-law, Liu Fengying, deliberately drops a fake jade pendant and accuses her of stealing it, hoping to drive her away and keep her under control. Born into a family of jade experts, Xiaotang exposes the fake jade on the spot and discovers that this is a routine trick used by the Zhou family. The three girlfriends before her were all falsely accused of theft, extorted, and publicly disgraced. She decisively breaks up with her boyfriend, gathers evidence, and contacts the three previous victims to join forces in a carefully planned counterattack. The Zhou family refuses to stop and targets a new woman, Tang Jing, with another extortion scheme, only to have their actions recorded on video as evidence. In the end, Liu Fengying, Zhou Yuanhang, and their accomplice relatives are exposed for slander, extortion, and assault. The entire family is sent to prison, while the five female victims clear their names, receive compensation, and begin new lives.
